Music and Dance Workshops - 10:30 am-3pm (Lunch break 12-1:30) These are small classes with some incredible teachers and world class performers, in many different instruments, as well as song and dance. Irish Music Masters Concert
A highlight of the Baltimore Irish Trad Fest, this all-star concert features some of the world's greatest performers of traditional Irish music, song and dance. This rarely equaled array of internationally known talents from around the U.S. and Ireland, $25, $22 Irish Trad Fest workshop students. Advanced tickets recommended as this is likely to sell out. Song Repertoire Class 1:30-3pm With Daithi Sproule - This is a great opportunity to increase your repertoire and learn some beautiful songs from one of the most well respected and beautiful singers in Irish traditional music. Dáithí will share some rare and beautiful songs from his wide repertoire. The emphasis will be on singing without accompaniment and he will teach at least one song phonetically in Irish. Dáithí believes everyone can and should sing! All welcome! He will also play a few recordings of his favourite singers.No experience necessary. $25 ($20 for Saturday workshop registrants.)
